Salary Range: 120,000 - 130,000

Who We Seek:

Public Label seeks a Director of Project Management in our Denver office to work across all channels and client businesses.  The Director of Project Management oversees and ensures effective coordination of all projects across the agency.  This individual oversees project managers who are in charge of ensuring task allocation and project prioritization is conducted in a way that delivers projects on time and on budget. 

The Director of Project Management at Public Label is a leader and an adept problem solver.  You are a person who is good at foreseeing obstacles and identifying solutions, which leads to keen forecasting and mastery of time management.  You’re also a dedicated team player and a strong planner with keen verbal and written communication skills.  You must thrive on creative energy and work well in a fast-paced environment with team members scattered across various locations and time zones.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the entire project management function within Public Label.
  • Ensure effective and efficient scheduling of projects across Public Label.
  • Throughout the project execution, apply industry best practices, methodologies and standards
  • Evaluate process performance and continually bring forward opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure team is delivering against the budget, hours allocation and timing
  • Build and develop the skill set of the project management team
  • Interact with clients to learn about project objectives, requirements and timelines
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline department heads to ensure strong creative briefs and team delivers strong schedules and assign tasks appropriately.

What You Need:

The successful candidate is a skilled Director of Project Management with a deep understanding of the discipline, extremely detailed oriented, passionate about producing exceptional work and a strong x-functional collaborator.

  • Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in business, advertising or related subject.
  • Five to eight years of project management experience
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (CAPM)
  • Capacity to think of new ways to tackle problems and streamline productivity
  • Working knowledge of Project Management tools such as Basecamp, Slack, Monday and others are tools that you should be familiar with
  • Tools, best practices, trends and methods for improving project management
  • Unwavering attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure, curious, adaptive, driven and focused
  • Understanding of both Experiential and Integrated marketing programs
  • Ability to effectively work as a team to accomplish business goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness and team collaboration are required
